CT for Derzi at Beehive Studio using the cute Santa's Lil Helper package available at their store HERE.
In the pack you get Candles dresses as Santa's Lil Helper as seen in the top tag and you also get Jubi dressed as Santa as a bonus tube. So thats 2 tubes for just $1.85.

I used the matching kit Christmas Fairyland by Amy Marie for the tags - find the kit HERE.

Supplies Used:

Tube: Jennifer -Exclusive by Ellie Milk  at PFD

Kit: Winter Frost by Redefined Designs at Berry

Mask by Dee

Font: Ice Sticks

Let’s get started!!!!!

Open up a new image 700x700 (background layer) and fill white so you can see what you are doing.

New layer - apply a mask and merge with paper 7

New window – open tube - select the layers you want to use - merge them together - copy/paste onto main image

Resize so the tube fits central in your tag

Now go back and add a layer above the mask layer and below the tube layer.

We are going to place some elements so they appear behind the tube.  I used Branch 1 to make a cluster effect behind the tube.. add the branch, add a drop shadow and then keep duplicating it and rotating it all around/behind the tube.

You now need to do the same effect with Cluster 2.. layering it behind the tube (resize so this cluster is shorter than the branches)

Do the same with cluster 3 (you can see we don't need to put as many elements around/behind now - we are just filling in the spaces).

Now add the wheel element twice, making it bigger at the bottom so you can see it just below where the legs of the tube cut off

Add the cluster element now and place it  above the wheels and behind the tube in a few places - don't forget your drop shadow

Now add a new layer above your tube layer.

Add the snow element at the bottom of the tag to cover her legs.. Delete any of the tube that is showing below the snow.

Now select the eraser and turn the opacity down to around 20%.. Carefully erase the sides of the snow element so the edges don't look so obvious.

Now go back again to the layer below the tube and scatter the charm element around to add a pop of blue to complement your mask

Go back to the top and add a new layer.  Add a name with your preferred font.

Add the copyright - delete the white background layer and thats it, you are done.

Thank you :)

CT page layouts for Across the Ponds at Berry Appilicious.  The layouts were made with the full sized kit 'Weathered Christmas' a beautiful vintage feel kit that is perfect for layouts and tags.

These examples show both a postcard from the kit used as the focus of the page and one using a photograph of my daughter.
