This tutorial is my own original work and any similarities with any other tutorial are coincidental and unintentional.
Anyone with a good basic working knowledge of PS CS5 should be able to follow this tutorial. Please feel free to get creative when following this tutorial, it is for guidance only! My tutorial will be written in a simple language so please forgive me if I don’t use the correct tagging terminology.
Please do not claim this tutorial as your own.  Anyone is welcome to use it and I would love to see your results.  If you would like to share it in a group please link back to my blog.

Supplies Used
Tube: Pigtails by Xeracx can be found here.
Kit: PTU Rad Robyne by Kizzed by Kelz can be found here.
Mask: by Weescotslass can be found here.
Template: by Annaica can be found here.
Font : Chicken Butt can be found here.

Let’s get started!!!!!

Open the template and delete the copyright layer and the preview layer.
Now I do things a little different to other people lol so stay with me :)

Usually you find a background layer in a template which is white.. and most people tell you to delete them.  This template doesn’t have the background layer but I like to use them so I can see what I am doing with the mask in the next instruction.  So add a background layer at the bottom and fill it white with the bucket tool.

Now go to file, place and select the mask.. Place it over the background layer.
Now go to file, place and select paper 14 from the kit. Place it above the mask and make it fit.
Now click on the mask layer again so it is highlighted blue in the layers panel. Now go to select all and then edit, copy.
Now click on paper layer so its highlighted blue. Press Q, then edit, paste and press Q again.
Now go to select and inverse and then click on the layer mask icon at the bottom of the layer panel.
You can now delete the mask layer (below the layer you just blended with the paper) and the white background layer.
Double click on the next layer (layer 15) to open up layer styles and use a black colour overlay (normal blend mode, full opacity).
Click on layer 14 and then go to file, place and use paper 20 to fit over the bottom shape.  Right click in the layer panel and create a clipping mask. The paper will fit into the shape perfectly.
Repeat this step for all the template shapes using papers of your choice.
Ok now copy and paste your chosen tube above layer 6 and create a clipping mask again like you did with the papers. Only the face needs to show in the rectangles.
Then go to image, adjustment and desaturate.
We now want to do the same above layer 4 but before copying the tube flip the canvas (in the tube window) horizontally so the model is looking the opposite way.
Again, desaturate the image.
Now place the tube below layer 3 and keep it coloured.
I decided to delete layers 1, 2 and 3 as I didn’t want the tab shape.
OK, now below your coloured tube layer you can start playing around with elements from the kit placing them where you like.. Stretch elements to the desired size  (hold down shift whilst dragging so you don’t distort the proportions of the elements)

 I placed mine as follows:

Key element behind model and angled slightly so as not to cover faces in rectangles.
Kitty element bottom left
Guitar element bottom right at an angle to the rectangle shape.
Speakers element bottom right
Rotary phone element in front of speakers
Boombox element bottom left so it’s partially hidden by the model.
Place funky flower in front of model to the right
Place funky flower 1 in front of model slightly to the left.
Place shoe bottom centre, covering funky flowers slightly
Place big bow element in front of the model to the left just covering part of where her legs cut off.

Now using the desired font, write name of choice..  I created a clipping mask with paper 5 over the name to get the effect in this tut. I then double clicked on the layer with the text and applied a stroke and a drop shadow.
The last thing to do is add your copyright, resize the image to your liking and save your tag.

Hope you enjoyed the tutorial!!
