Supplies Used

Tube: Sirena Rocks by Jay Trembly

Kit: Mermaid Dream by ICZ

Mask of your choice.

Font of your choice.

Let’s get started!!!!!

Open up a new image 700x700 (background layer) and fill white so you can see what you are doing.

New layer - apply a mask and merge with paper 6

New window – open tube - select layer copy 1 – copy/paste onto main image

Now right click on this layer and apply a clipping mask, resize the tube so you can see all of her apart from her tail.

Duplicate the mermaid layer – right click and release clipping mask.

Use the eraser to remove most of the rocks etc.. the main thing we need to keep in this layer is her tail.. it doesn’t have to be perfect as we will be placing elements in front of some of the tail

Now go back to the layer below the duplicated mermaid.

Add palm tree 2 – rotate and put to the left hand side. it will look like its floating but once we add more elements in front it will look ok - add a drop shadow

Place moon 2 behind mermaids head, lower the layer opacity and use eraser to soften edges

Add the sand 1 element as seen in picture

Now go to a new layer above the mermaid duplicate and add the water 2 element.

Now add the wave element and use the eraser to soften the bottom part so it blends with the water (turn opacity down on the eraser)

Add the post element – d/s – use eraser – low opacity to erase some of the bottom parts of the post so it looks more natural, like the post is in the sand

Place the sea plant element in front of the wave – d/s

Duplicate the sea plant and move it slightly over

Place the clam shell to the left in front of the sea plants – d/s

Place starfish 2 and use eraser again to soften so it looks like the starfish is slightly sunk in the sand

Place the parrot element on the post – d/s

Place bottle 1 in front of post – use eraser so bottle looks like it is sunk in the sand

Place flowers 2 element in front of post, to the side of the bottle – d/s

Place flowers 1 in front of the clam – d/s

Place bird 2 in the sky, flying – d/s

Now this tube is topless so we might want to cover her assets if we want to be able to share the tag on facebook etc, so:

Use shell 2 to make a bra top for her.. duplicate the element for both boobs ..soften with eraser so its not so obvious

Ok so now you can add a name and the correct copyright before resizing the tag to your preferred size.

Thank You!!
